about

We used to play this song in the woods on acoustic guitars. It's a freaky tale of incest, realization, and revenge - perfect Americana, right? The original version is brilliant and way better than this. You should check it out on the album Munly & The Lee Lewis Harlots (by the band of the same name). Take your money and support Jay Munly and his other projects (DBUK, Slim Cessna's Auto Club, Munly & The Lupercalians, etc.).

Anyhow, this was recorded entirely by only two members of the group, just for fun. All guitars and bass recorded with a Verellen Meatsmoke Preamp direct in the middle of the night while some little kids and a wife slept upstairs. The drums were captured one Saturday afternoon.

supercorrupter is a rock and roll machine, but not precision oiled - no, more like a rusty contraption barely holding it together.

Amps cranked. speaker cabs creaking at the seams, drums on the verge of collapse... Rock and Roll.
